1. About 11+ Vocab Trainer

• 11+ Vocab Trainer is an online vocabulary practice app for children preparing for the 11+ and selective school exams.
• The app provides vocabulary questions, spaced repetition, progress tracking, XP, streaks, word banks, rewards and leaderboards.
• It is an educational support tool. We do not guarantee any particular exam result, school place or score improvement.

2. Accounts

• A parent or guardian should create and manage the account.
• Children should use a nickname, not their full real name, especially for leaderboards.
• You are responsible for keeping login details secure and for making sure the app is suitable for your child.
• We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the service, attempt to bypass payment, use inappropriate names, or interfere with the app.

3. Free and paid access

• Free practice lets users try the product before subscribing.
• There is one paid subscription available: £9.99 per year for unlimited vocabulary practice.
• The paid subscription does not unlock a separate course, hidden content library or additional product. It simply removes the free daily practice limit so users can practise more vocabulary.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card details.

4. Renewal and cancellation

• Subscriptions automatically renew each year unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You can cancel future renewals by contacting: vocabfarm@gmail.com.
• Cancelling stops future renewals. Access usually continues until the end of the paid year already purchased.

5. Refunds and digital access

• Users can try the product through free daily practice before choosing to subscribe.
• The paid subscription gives immediate access to unlimited vocabulary practice for the year.
• Because the paid subscription is for immediate digital access to unlimited practice, payments are generally non-refundable once access has started, unless required by law or there is a fault with the service.
• Refund requests can be sent to vocabfarm@gmail.com and will be reviewed in line with UK consumer law.

6. Leaderboards

• Leaderboards are for motivation and may show nickname, exam cohort, words mastered, XP, streaks or rank.
• Do not use a child’s full real name as a nickname.
• We may change leaderboard rules to improve fairness, reduce gaming, or protect children’s privacy.

7. Content and intellectual property

• All app content, including vocabulary questions, explanations, design, branding and learning systems, belongs to us or our licensors.
• You may use the app for personal educational use only.
• You must not copy, scrape, sell, publish, redistribute or use our content to create a competing product without written permission.

8. Availability and changes

• We aim to keep the app working well, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
• We may update, improve, remove or change features, content, pricing or free allowances over time.

9. Accuracy

• We aim to provide high-quality vocabulary content, but we cannot guarantee that every question, explanation or level is perfect.

10. Privacy

Our use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Liability

• Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
• We are not responsible for exam outcomes, school admissions decisions, misuse of the app, technical problems outside our control, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
