How does 11+ Vocab Trainer work?
11+ Vocab Trainer helps children build vocabulary through short, focused practice. Children answer multiple-choice vocabulary questions, earn XP, build streaks and collect animals as they practise.
The app uses spaced repetition, so words come back at the right time. Tricky words appear more often, while words your child knows well appear less often.
Why haven’t my child’s words grown yet?
Words grow through repeated recall, not just one correct answer.
When your child gets a word right, it rests before appearing again. If they remember it again later, it grows further. This helps prove the word is moving into long-term memory.
How many words are included?
The app includes over 1,900 hand-picked 11+ vocabulary words.
The words have been selected for 11+ preparation, reading comprehension, verbal reasoning and selective school vocabulary development.
What if the words are too easy or too hard?
The trainer adapts as your child practises.
If your child answers confidently, the app can introduce harder vocabulary. If they struggle, it slows down and gives more review so they can build a stronger foundation.
Is there a free version?
Yes. Free practice lets children try the product before subscribing.
Free users can practise a limited number of words each day.
What does the paid subscription include?
The paid subscription unlocks unlimited vocabulary practice.
It does not unlock a separate course, hidden content library or additional product. It simply removes the free daily practice limit so your child can practise more words.
How much does it cost?
11+ Vocab Trainer costs £9.99 per year for unlimited vocabulary practice.
There is currently one subscription option only.
Does the subscription renew automatically?
Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically each year unless cancelled before the renewal date.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel future renewals at any time by emailing: vocabfarm@gmail.com
Please include the email address used for the subscription so we can find the account.
Cancelling stops future renewals. Your child will usually keep paid access until the end of the year already purchased.
Can I get a refund?
Children can try the product through free daily practice before subscribing.
The paid subscription gives immediate digital access to unlimited vocabulary practice. Because access starts straight away, payments are generally non-refundable once the subscription has begun, unless required by law or there is a fault with the service.

Is the app enough on its own for the 11+?
Vocabulary is an important part of 11+ preparation, especially for reading comprehension and verbal reasoning, but it is not the whole exam.
11+ Vocab Trainer is designed to support vocabulary growth. It does not guarantee any particular exam result, score or school place.
Are there adverts?
No. The app does not show third-party adverts.
Should my child use their real name?
No. Children should use a nickname, not their full real name, especially for leaderboards.
How do leaderboards work?
Leaderboards are designed to make practice more motivating. They may show nickname, exam cohort, XP, streaks, words mastered or rank.
We recommend using a nickname only.
